Infographics – The Best Way To Boost Your Blog

Infographics to Boost Your Blog

Infographics for Bloggers

Infographics are “The Best Way to Boost Your Blog,” my guest, Hemant, explains.

Hemant is an exciting young blogger who has many “tricks” up his sleeve to help you get more traffic to your blog.

And, of course, more traffic leads to more conversions, right?

So, let me hand this post over to guest author, Hemant Kumar.

Infographics – The Best Way to Boost Your Blog

Have you ever tried using Infographics?

Oh, not yet?

But you must have seen some of them on other blogs.

My two favorite ways to rock your blog and online business are:

  1. Infographics
  2. Podcasts

So, today we are talking about Infographics because as I will show you… Infographics are The Best Way To Boost Your Blog.

Special: FREE Guide… 4 Things I Did To Build My Blog Using Only Free Traffic

As we all know, images and videos are awesome ways to attract visitors or to grab the attention of viewers.

Why Do You Need Infographics?

Everyone judges a book by its cover, and it’s 100% correct to do so.

Bloggers have been using beautiful images and videos to rock their first impression, and that’s good.

But we have now entered a new era of Infographics.

Sometimes people get bored by reading lengthy posts, so here comes the Infographic.

Infographics are a visual way to attract people.

And as I’ve said, Infographics are the best way to boost your blog.

People prefer visual data much more than text

It has been reported, even, that people’s brains process Infographics 60,000 times faster than a simple text.

Importance of Infographics in SEO

Infographics are important in many ways.

They can…

  • boost the SEO of your blog
  • get you pretty awesome followers
  • get you tons of social media shares
  • help you to grab some quality backlinks

So, overall I can say that Infographics will surely help you to get high search engine rankings.

You can see a live example of mine.

Live Example

I created an Infographic for one blog post, and guess what… that post is ranking on the first page of Google as of this writing (some places, not everywhere).

It got me 1,000 page views in just a few days and resulted in an increase of more than 400 daily page views.

Rank on the first page of Google

And the backlinks which I have received from my Infographics are boosting my site’s SEO.

This helped me to rank on the first position of Google, and got me approximately 20,000 recent page views.

Okay, now you know a lot of benefits of Infographics, and why I’m telling your they are the best way to boost your blog.

So, you must be wondering how you can create them for your blog.

Special: FREE Guide… 4 Things I Did To Build My Blog Using Only Free Traffic

Let’s see a step by step process of how you can create an Infographic for free.

There are lots of sites which let you create free Infographics but trust me, only a few of them are helpful, and the rest of them will just waste your time.

The sites I use to create my Infographics are…

Let’s see how to create an Infographic with Visme

Step 1- First of all, go to Visme.co

Step 2- Sign up for a free account and login

Step 3- Click on the “Create new visme” option.

Step 4- Create a name for your project.

Step 5- Now, it will show you four categories… presentation, banner, blank and Infographic. Click on the ‘Infographic’ option.

Step 6- You will then be redirected to the page where you’ll have to pick a template or theme for your Infographic.  Click on any one you like, but make sure you don’t choose a premium one if you want to use it for free.

Step 7- Now, just edit your selected template by double clicking the area you want to edit. Like, if you want to edit the text, then just double click on the text, and you’ll be able to edit it.

Step 8- If you want to add some icons or any other media like images or videos, then you should use the left tool bar.

Step 9- Once you are done editing your Infographic, you can preview it, and then download it from the top toolbar.

That’s all.

Now you have your awesome Infographic.

Use it wherever you want 😉

What’s next? What can you do with this Infographic?

Okay, now you have created an excellent Infographic.

You should not wait and sit down.

Lots of people will come to you and request “hey sir, or ma’am, can I use your Infographic on my site?

It’s not gonna happen at all just because you published it.

No one has seen it, yet.

Infographics are the best way to boost your blog as long as your market them properly.

So you have to do some more hard work.

Infographics can help you get some quality backlinks very quickly.

Special: FREE Guide… 4 Things I Did To Build My Blog Using Only Free Traffic

You just have to create an excellent, attractive Infographic and then let the world know that you have created it.

How do you grab backlinks with your Infographics to boost your blog?

Email Outreach.

First, search on Google for those sites that have already published a post related to the topic of your Infographic.

Like, if I have made an Infographic on how to create Infographics, then I’ll simply search on Google like this…

“How to create Infographics”

You will see a list of sites that have already have written about this topic.

Go to these sites and contact them.

Show them your Infographic and suggest they use it on their site if they like it.

When they do, you can get a backlink from their site.

Submit your Infographic to an Infographic submission site.

Now you must be wondering just how infographics will boost your blog, right ?

Well, one important way is to improve your SEO.

Getting lots of high-quality backlinks will increase the SEO of your site,

When you use Infographics on your site, a new visitor will spend more time there than if you have only a simple text post.

So, this will also help your site’s SEO.

And when you publish your Infographic, everyone loves to share it, and that can result in an excellent traffic flow to your site.

Yeah, more people will trust you and more trust is equal to more followers 😉

I guess all these advantages of Infographics are enough to tell you that your website is missing a great opportunity for growth if it isn’t using Infographics 😉

Conclusion

If you have never made an Infographic, and are thinking that you can’t create one… then you are completely wrong.

Everyone can create an Infographic.

It’s really, really simple.

And it really is the best way to boost your blog.

So I personally recommend that you go and create one Infographic for your website and feel the difference.

I’m sure it will not let you down.

If you still have any problem creating an Infographic, or want to know more about how to boost the SEO of your blog using Infographics then, please, let me know in the comment section below.

It will be my honor to help you out.

And don’t forget to tell me which site you use to create your Infographics.

That was a very informative and a very helpful post. I was aware that we all are visual and images are huge in catching and holding our attention, but I didn’t know that infographics can increase our SEO. I personally have only made a couple infographics on my blogs but thanks to Hemant more will be coming all year. Thanks for sharing this helpful post and have a super evening.

Hi Donna and Hemant. Very valuable information here. Infographics work better than text in terms of conveying your message, and engaging with your website visitors. Again, as you rightly said, the higher number of social shares and backlinks that infographics get will also help with SEO. This post also has nice information about how to create infographics, which is something that a lot of bloggers do need help with. Great post as always, Donna. Keep them coming.

Hi Hemant. It’s great to meet you! Hey Donna!

It’s always great learning more tips about what our audience wants to see. Of course, each individual is different in their likes. Whereas some like Podcasts and videos, I’m not a huge fan. I’m on the go a lot and having time to listen or watch is just not there. However, throw an infographic out there and I’m all over it. I’m a visual person and love to see images, design, and more!

Great read! You know I’ll be passing it along, Donna!

Happy Monday to both of you!

    Hello Hemant,

Nice to see your article here on Donna’s blog.

I was not aware that Infographics could boost your SEOs. I had one posted on my blog a while ago, but maybe it was not properly written as you have suggested. I always had the notion that just by publishing an infographic you will not get hits and your indexing will also be well off.

Well, now you have cleared so many thoughts. I should try that again. Thanks.

Everything is possible, as they say. I have never used one, in fact I don’t use images either much, just because I like a clean looking blog, that’s my personal choice. I know images would improve my blog rank but it’s my blog and you have to decide why you are blogging and what you want from your blog. For me it’s about offering information with no distractions (images) even though I know images can enhance understanding of something sometimes but many I find seem to bear no relation to a post, they are just there for some colour. I don’t think the information I give would come across well in an infographic. I write very short posts because I like short and sweet. Thanks for the information though, really valuable to those who might be concerned about starting with these.

    Enjoy the journey!

    Hey Hemant,

I agree with you 100% about infographics.

I have used infographics on a few of my posts. I used some from Visual.ly and I created one using Visme. I can say that it’s pretty fun creating them once you get the hang of it.

Also, you’re right about people preferring visuals over text. There are times where I just don’t feel like reading text and look for infographics, or at least a blog post with more images. It definitely gives your visitors a better user experience.

Thanks for the share! Have a good one!

    Hey Donna,

Visual content is more engaging that just words. Photos and video drive more engagement on both blogs and social media sites.

Infographics are highly shareable. When People share your infographic, your site gains more traffic so it can be good idea to boost your blogs in simple manner.

Content that is presented in a new and original way is more interesting and more likely to receive comments and go viral than plain old text.

People love infographics and they are all about color and font variations. And they align with the concept of inserting a purposeful break in the flow of content for better retention. Eventually, thanks for sharing your healthy experience with us.

I knew infographics were a good way to break up the content on your site. You know, to give your readers something different versus the same old text. But I thought it was more so for the visual aspect, I had really thought it can impact your SEO. Good to know.

With the world moving to a more image drawn concept, ex IG and Snapchat, this makes perfect sense.
