Make 2019 Your Best Year For Guaranteed Big Blogging Success

Guaranteed Big Blogging SuccessJust imagine if you could figure out how to make 2019 your best year for guaranteed Big Blogging Success.

This article has been updated from last year, because I had such a great response to that one.

And, of course, you should always be updating your Blogging Success.

So I want you to see how you can take your Blogging Business from where it is right now, to Bigger and Better Results over the next 12 months.

And I’ll show you how to make the first 30 days your launchpad to Blogging Success!

So yes, this article is updated from last year.

But the critical essence is still the same.

I am simply going to show you how to how to make 2019 your best year for guaranteed Big Blogging Success.

Okay, that sounds pretty amazing, doesn’t it?

I mean, how would your life change if you started having exactly the kind of success you always hoped for with your blog?

Would this mean you could …

  • start living a more independent lifestyle?
  • work when you want?
  • take time to travel on a whim?
  • create more security for your family, partner or other loved ones?
  • finally get past the day-to-day drudgery of the “9 to 5” life?

What could it mean to you?

What is Big Blogging Success?

First, let’s think about what big blogging success means to you.

I mean, blogging success depends on what your personal, private goals and dreams are, right?

For one person… blogging success might be about making a life-changing income from blogging.

For someone else, it might mean being able to tuck your laptop under your arm and work from the local coffee shop, anytime you feel like it.

Somebody else might see blogging success as a way to get a lot more people to join their business or their team.

Whatever blogging success means to you, just think of achieving it exactly as you envision it… in a big, big way.

That’s what I’m talking about.

2019 could be that year for you.

How Can Your Blogging Success Be Guaranteed?

There’s one fool-proof way to guarantee your success in blogging… or whatever other online business you’re developing.

That one fool-proof way is this.

Step 1: Find out what works, and then do more of it.

Lots more of it.

Step 2: At the same time, figure out what has not been working… and stop doing it.

Don’t just change the way you’ve been doing it, or the amount that you’ve been doing it.

Just stop doing it all together.

If you commit to doing those two things in 2019… you will be able to enjoy exactly the Guaranteed Big Blogging Success you’ve been looking for.

Guaranteed.

So What “Works?”

Well okay, so obviously you have to figure out what works.

You have to know who your target audience is, and how you can help them solve their biggest problems.

It follows that you have to know what kind of offers to point them to.

These are the offers for products and services that, again, help them solve those same big problems.

In others words, you have to know what to promote to them.

All of this requires, of course, that you first learn what their problems are, and then, how to solve them.

These are the kinds of things that work.

What Doesn’t “Work?”

Now, here’s what won’t work.

Anything you’ve been doing for a while that is not bringing you exactly the results that you want.

And, naturally, that fail to bring you the quantity and consistency of successful results you need.

You would be right if you now ask…

“If you’re not getting the results you want from what you’re doing… then why would you keep doing it?”

Well, there is actually an answer to that.

You would probably do it because that’s what you’ve gotten accustomed to doing.

Maybe it’s even what you’ve gotten good at doing.

But if it’s not getting you the results that you need… then you have to learn how to cut all that out of your daily regimen.

Remove it from your business or blogging blueprint altogether.

And do it now.

Remember, you want 2019 to be your best year ever, and I want to help you achieve that goal.

The Magic Formula

So now that you know what works vs. what doesn’t work… you have the magic formula.

I’ve worked with a lot of people and helped them to do exactly these two things.

Double up on what’s working and eliminate what’s not working.

But how exactly, do you do that?

That’s the big question, of course.

Answer that and you’re on your way… fast.

That’s how you can make 2019 your best year for big blogging success.

Where Do You Begin?

Well, you have to start by knowing what you should be doing in order to start getting the results that you want.

You can, of course, do it the hard way (and expensive)… by trial and error.

Meanwhile, maybe you’ll get some helpful guidelines or hints by watching what others have been successful with.

To accelerate this process, though, and get a really fast start, right out of the gates in 2019… you would be very smart to start working with a blogging coach.

A good coach or mentor can give you immediate and individual guidance.

This will make things work better and faster.

And, a coach can usually see what you’re doing right or wrong, even when you can’t see it for yourself.

His/her input can cut right to the chase, putting you on the right track without costly and time-draining trial and error ramblings.

Reboot Your Business

So, if you haven’t been getting the kind of success that you want, then I’m going to suggest that you do these things to reboot your business.

Now what do I mean by reboot your business ?

Well, you see, it’s like when you’re working on your computer, and suddenly it starts getting really slow.

You know what I mean.

It’s moving along nicely and all of a sudden every time you click on something, you have to wait for the little spinning ball or something else before you can continue on.

In other words, you’re stuck.

For no clear reason, your computer just is not working at normal speed.

You’re not doing anything wrong.

But for some reason, you’re struggling to get your computer to respond to your keystrokes and clicks.

So what’s the best solution for overcoming this sluggishness?

Well, the very first thing that you should do is shut it down and reboot it, right?

And that happens because your computer starts getting confused with data or mixed commands that slow it down.

It’s not always clear why your computer gets confused, or why rebooting it solves the problem.

But it does.

Like magic 🙂

The fact is, almost every computer technician will tell you that if your computer is suddenly just not working right, then try rebooting it before you do anything else.

Well… this is the same thing I’m telling you about your business.

So you’ve been blogging right along, thinking that you’re doing all the right things, right?

And you probably have been.

But you’re just not getting the results that you want.

And you’re not getting the kinds of results you see other bloggers getting… and they don’t seem to be doing anything different.

In other words, you’re stuck.

Frustrating, eh?

OK.

Take a deep breath.

Let’s not take this frustration into the new year.

You can fix this.

First, though, before you do anything else… stop everything and reboot your business.

Just shut it down for a moment and then turn it back on.

When you do that, a lot of the stuff that was slowing you down and blocking you from success… can be made to disappear.

Just like magic 🙂

Here’s How I Plan To Update My Own Blogging Success in 2019

So here’s a real life example of what I call a “Blogging Reboot” looks like.

I’m looking at my Blogging Business right now.

I see that I have a pretty robust level of activity.

Many visitors and a growing email list.

So what should I improve?

What part of my blogging business would benefit from a reboot?

Well, actually, as broad and engaged as my audience is, I don’t really do enough to expand on it.

I should be reaching out to people who don’t know who I am or what I’m doing here on Dona Merrill Tribe.

And in the process of reaching out to them, I would also be connecting with a lot of new bloggers in my niche.

So I’ve decided to make 2019 a year that I’m going to reboot my audience outreach efforts.

I this way, I can grow my audience by bringing new people into my tribe.

So, how will I do this?

Well, that’s another part of the reboot.

But the first is to commit to my goal.

Next, I will get down to the work of developing the best strategies to achieve it.

    Hello Donna,

All bloggers have one thing in common that they want their blog to succeed in 2019. Blogging provides flexible schedule for us so that I can travel when I want, work when it fits me during the day and week and do my work from anywhere in the world.

It started with me setting up a blog just for fun. But then it transformed into something much bigger as my initial audience. Eventually, thanks for sharing your interesting experience with us.

    With best wishes,

    Amar Kumar

    Hey Donna,
One thing which I have planned for this year is to get myself a blogging coach or mentor. I am sure that would give me some head start. I can take some time out to learn, try and then rule out the mistakes and then try again. But isn’t it better when there is someone to guide you about the right blogging tactics and what does not work in 2019 anymore? What’s your take on this?
    Thanks for sharing.

      Hi Vineet

I totally agree with you, here.

The best… the fastest… and the cheapest way to move forward in building a prosperous blogging business is with the help of a blogging coach.

There’s nothing like somebody who knows the ropes, taking you by the hand and showing you EXACTLY what you need to do.

This is the only real “shortcut” to success you’ll ever find.

Good luck in 2019 my friend 🙂

    Hi Donna,

This is indeed a guaranteed way to have success blogging in 2019. In one of my most recent guest post that was published yesterday, I actually didn’t write about blogging, but social media. There I mentioned an identical strategy as yours, where I highlighted the need to evaluate your 2018 social media campaign to find what you’ve been doing that’s not working and get rid of it, and then focus on what’s working for you.

And here I see you make the same point, which applies not only to social media and blogging, but to all other marketing processes.

    Thanks for sharing, Donna.

    Hi Donna,

Great post as usual. It is very important to know your target audience and then start catering to their needs. Once you know your audience, you can create content according to them so that they benefit by visiting your site. The more they find value on your site, the more they will come again and again.

Thanks for this post. Have a great year ahead.

      Hi Sajid

It so so important to really understand your target audience.

Not just WHO they are, but as you point out here… what they WANT and NEED… what they will value and benefit from.

Fulfill those needs and yes, they will become repeat and loyal readers, subscribers and eventually, buyers and clients.

      Thanks for your observations here.

    Hi donna

    Well!

Nice write! No way to make money if you don’t have traffic.

Bloggers want that humble vibrant house; Lovely home; Million-dollar investment success and Mercedes-Benz?

They will be available if they can choose to face and deal with these business problems.

I personally don’t call them problems, I name them “challenges”. And you will face them. I have been facing them and believe me, it has been uplifting to me more than I can ever imagine financially and mentally.

These challenges are the reasons why Neil Patel advised that Business are not for kids.

They are frustration, finance, insults, lifestyle change, fear and failure, and the likes…

Patrick David said it’s easy for a successful business person to tell you how easy it was to achieve. You would need to sit him down, sink inside his emotion before he’d reveal to you how tough it took him to attain that stage.

Making money blogging should be fun, and that’s how successful bloggers would paint it for you. But they rarely tell you the bitter truths they faced. Smiles!

I advise everyone here to apply all your principles…

Then from my experience, if your traffic is massive but not targeted well, making money from it will not be possible.

Before you can really make worthwhile money with your blog these days, it demands that you angle it toward a particular niche.

You need to specify who your audiences are, their problems, their fears, their wishes and how they can be more better.

    Well done ma!

      Hi Godwin

Yes, yes… gotta have that traffic flowing, right?

      That’s how you’ll have a prosperous blog.

Find the “challenges” your readers are having, and make life easier for them with your solutions, products and services.

It’s work… blogging is definitely “not for kids.”

But do a good job with improving the lives of your readers, and you will certainly reap amazing rewards.

Thanks for your valuable comment, my friend.

That’s an awesome post, especially since I can relate to it a lot. Since the new year began, I stopped doing the one mistake that I’ve been doing in the past – working on multiple projects at once!

I have now started scaling up the sites that were working, and forgot about the ones that weren’t. Once I reach a certain point with my websites, both readership and income-wise, I can outsource the work and focus on building new properties. It’s only the beginning of the New Year, but I have been more productive than I was in months.

    Hi Donna,

Great tips and it came at the right time. I actually sat down this past week to take a good look at what was actually helping me grow my blog. I’ve also decided to test out a few things as well.

After all, you never know if something will work for your blog unless you test things out. You can’t always take other people’s opinions on what works and what doesn’t.

After really digging into my Analytics and seeing what works. I realized that my YouTube channel doesn’t bring me a lot of traffic. I love creating videos but in the past year, I have only gotten 80 subscribers.

I know that you said to cut out the task completely, but I really enjoy it. So instead of creating a new video every week. I am going to start doing one every 2 weeks.

This way I can still create new videos but it does not take a lot of my time away from my blog and other things.

That is the only thing that I am changing as I felt like everything else I am doing is helping me grow. I totally agree that it is important to sit down and determine what is actually helping you grow and what isn’t.

That’s one of the reasons that I always check my Analytics at the end of the month. It helps me understand where I need to be focusing my time on my blog. After all, I am still not working on my blog full time.

I still have to do work for my clients. So when I do sit down to work on my blog, I need to make sure that I am making the most of my time.

Thanks for sharing these tips with us, I will be sure to pass it along.

    Have a great day 🙂

      Hi Susan,

As for Youtube..I think you have a great idea to tone it down a bit. How about this: Do a Facebook Live video (either face to face or with keynote) Then post it up on Youtube? Kill two bird with one stone. You can also spread it out to Linked in and Twitter if you like. One task with so many tentacles for that far reach without going nuts lol.

There was a time when I was going crazy with all the tasks to juggle. But then I started doing one task that can be shared all over the place (including my blog) and when the chips fell, I was able to analyze where the strong points were and the others not.

    Hi Gaurav,

I too find that the biggest problem people do have, especially when it comes to blogging is investing. Your blog is your “home base” so why not invest? I wouldn’t ask if I didn’t do it myself….and still do.

Each time I create a product I do invest in one thing or another to make it work well. It’s not just me throwing out some petty stuff lol. I like to invest in a “coach” that keeps me on target and can give me insights. Also, most importantly can help me get it done right the first time around.

    Hi Donna,

it is the time to reboot the blogging business. It is the job of a every blogger to find out what works and what not? Bloggers has to make some bold moves and also take some necessary steps that they are afraid of.

The big issue what I have seen with many bloggers is that they do not understand the importance of investing. Investment and marketing are the keys to turn your blog into brand.

Your advice is always helpful to grow blog in professional way.

    Thanks.

    Donna,

Great advice for people to reboot for the new year. And what better way than to get help and support and training from an expert.
Wishing you a healthy and happy and very successful New Year.

    Warmly,

    Dr. Erica

    Hi Donna,

People need to hop on your coaching!

They are investing in themselves, buying in to your year’s and year’s worth of blogging experience. Gotta hire a pro when you are struggling, and even successful bloggers work with pros to get clearer on their direction.

As for ceasing to do what works, this is one of the things that separates the top bloggers from the rest. As I did an interview earlier today, I was asked about how I manage my time so effectively. I responded with: I basically do 4 things. So my blogging day revolves around doing those 4 things. Simple as pie. I create posts, I create authentic comments and promote my friends, and I engage folks on Twitter and Facebook. 4 things. I let go the many other things that didn’t work – because I did not resonate with those activities – many months and years ago.

Most bloggers try to do 34 things, versus 4 or 5 things. They try to do a few things that work then fill their day with stuff that doesn’t work. Why in the heck would you do that? Baffles the modern day me, but the old me made some boneheaded errors. Lessons learned, and as my guest posting campaign shows, I really ran with what is working.

Happy New Years to you, David and your entire family, Donna!

      Hi Ryan,

I basically do the same 4 things as you. I did try other platforms years and months back and narrowed things down to what works, tossing out what doesn’t. I also do one more thing and that is production. I do that first and foremost in my day then go on to my blogging activities.

He He you didn’t make “bonehead” errors, rather you learned from that old school of hard knocks which by the way is a great institution. I’m an alumni.
