Success Quotes

Success QuotesMy last post was about “Fear of Success” and I wanted to list some quotes from great people for you to ponder.

Quotes sometimes can be affirmations.  Weather you have a fear of success or not, the following quotes are some food for thought.  If one particular quote speaks to you, use it as a daily affirmation.

“Our greatest weakness lies in giving up.  The most certain way to succeed is always to try just one more time” – Thomas A. Edison

“I am still far from being what I want to be, but with God’s help I shall succeed” – Vincent Van Gogh

“It is literally true that you can succeed best and quickest by helping others to succeed” – Napoleon Hill

“Find somebody to be successful for.  Raise their hopes. Think of their needs.” – Barack Obama

“They succeed because they think they can”  –  Virgil

“Too many of us are not living our dreams because we are living our fears.” Les Brown

“As long as you’re going to be thinking anyway, think big.” – Donald Trump

“Success is liking yourself, liking what you do, and liking how you do it” – Maya Angelou

“I’m a success today because I had a friend who believed in me and I didn’t have the heart to let him down.” – Abraham Lincoln

“Eighty Percent of Success is showing up”  – Woody Allen

“Failure is Success if we learn from it.”  – Malcolm Forbes

“If you have no critics, you’ll likely have no success” – Malcolm X

“The talent of success is nothing more than doing what you can do, well.” – Henry W. Longfellow

“Success is the sum of small efforts, repeated day in and day out.”  –  Robert Collier

“It is hard to fail, but it is worse never to have tried to succeed.” – Theodore Roosevelt

“I failed my way to success.” – Thomas Edison

Hope you enjoyed this collection of Success Quotes.  If you have a favorite quote or affirmation about success that YOU use, please add to the comments.

Donna, I love this collection of quotes. There’s a lot of wisdom here: failure is not to be feared, but a necessary teacher; I personally believe I need God’s help working together with my efforts in order to change and grow; and focusing on helping others succeed is a great way to success for ourselves as well.

      Thanks Steve,

I had an urge to do a quote post because just one quote can change one person’s perspective sometimes.

As for God’s help, you cannot go wrong there my friend.

    Hi Donna,
Great article, because I am a lover of quotes! One of the ones you shared that I like is: “Success is liking yourself, liking what you do, and liking how you do it” – Maya Angelou
And one of the ones I like kind of follows the same theme……If you like yourself, like what you do you will be living in the moment and loving what you do and looking for those special moments.
“There are two ways to live your life–one is as though nothing is a miracle, the other is as though everything is a miracle. ” ~Albert Einstein

Have a day of many miracle moments!

      Thank you Lynn!

I love those quotes too. I’m not one that likes to put quotes on my blog, but the last time I did it, they were all my own quotes and many people asked if they could use them.

Of course! That’s why I wrote them lol.

Here I picked some of my favorite people and their inspiring quotes. Sometimes one line can motivate a person!

Oh, you know I love quotes Donna. All of these are terrific, but I especially like Edison’s “I failed my way to success.” Here’s my current favorite quote, it’s from Einstein – “I am thankful to all those who said no. It’s because of them, I did it myself.”

      Hi Marquita,

I like your Einstein’s quote. I seen it on your blog and took a few moments to really think about that.

I can really resonate with it because I too am thankful for all those who said NO, and I had to find a way to do it myself.

      Awesome,

    Hi Donna,

I love success quotes! If you wouldn’t mind, I would like to use some of them for social media posting. I laughed at “Eighty Percent of Success is showing up” by Woody Allen because I instantly thought of the 80/20 Rule. Thanks for sharing and keep up your challenge! You are doing awesome!

You gotta love Woody! These are public quotes and you can use them any time.

I also have done a blog on my own quotes which can also be used at any time.

    Hi Donna,

Great Quotes. They are all inspiring, I like them all. Here is another one which I also like:

I love when I find a new collection of quotes thank you Donna! One of my favorites since I was in grade school.

“Time lost is never found again” Benjamin Franklin

I used to repeat this over and over when I was feeling peer pressure saved my butt plenty.

      Hi Lydia,

I like that one! I believe that when we resonate with a quote and say it over and over again, it becomes our “affirmation” and helps us get over the “pressure” live gives us.

      Thanks for your contribution,

In a previous blog, I posted my own quotes that I had put on a document and twice a day, posted to Twitter.

I received so many re-tweets and replies.

Once in a while I like to do a blog with some quotes in order to keep readers engaged.

      Hi Steve,

I appreciate you visiting again. Once in a while I like to throw out some quotes on a blog because one quote can say a thousand words!

Sometimes I find such a goodie, that I use it as an affirmation.

    Hi Donna
When you start reading the quotes you cannot help but feel empowered. When you think about the changes these people have made, then listening and reading what they say is not a bad thing.
I love the quote “Attitude is Everything – Pick A Good One.”

      Hi Kerris,

That’s a fun one. There is so much behind one quote isn’t there?

Attitude is what we project to the world. If we pick a good one, we are choosing to live a certain way.

It is good for ourselves and others!

    Hey Donna,

Wonderful again and you have found very nice quotes to relate + cheer up with “CAN DO” attitude dear. I feel it right now and I hope folks will definitely agree with that too.

Here’s one I like very much ~ “He is able who thinks he is able.”

Have a GREAT day there Donna and Let’s go for it 🙂

    Cheers…

I like that quote too Mayura!

Sometimes I like to blog quotes because just one little line can enlighten someone or even reinforce them to take action in their lives.

As long as we have one thought, we are “able” to manifest it.
