    Glad that you used the word “sidebar blindness”. 99% of the website designs in the IM industry almost look identical. Sidebar with optin, Derek Halpern’s header etc. So glad that you’re trying something different by using a sticky post on your home page to collect emails.

    Everyone is doing the same stuff now, it has become a rat race.
    Not everyone has the time to read the 2000 words article so infographics has become the new trend.
    I have started using infographics in most of my blogs and I have seen a visible notice in traffic conversion.

      I’m thinking of giving this blog a bit of an overhaul. Researching as I write of what to do. But it seems like that sidebar has to go.

      Absolutely…it all starts with the mindset. There are many bloggers out there that have been around for a while and never made a penny. Time to change that! Goal setting is key for blog growth and everyone has a different goal. There is no one size fits all.

      I launched this in January and it went so well….time to relaunch it again.

      I REALLY DO TRY LOL. I like making things simple because there are so many things that are complicated out there and I end up looking like a deer in the headlights. Why over complicate things? Teach people one thing at a time so that they can take action upon it. That’s what I like to do.

    Hi Donna,

    I know that anyone who signs up for your 30-day challenge will get a lot from it. I’ve learned a lot just by reading some of your blog posts. Blogging is hard work and if someone can learn from an expert like you, then they’ll have a proven roadmap they can follow instead of trying to do it all themselves.

    That’s definitely worked for helping me grow my blog. I actually paid for a blogging course because I knew how to blog, but I had no clue how to turn it into a blog.

    It’s a lot harder than some people think. I am going to share this on my social media because I know that this will change people’s lives and will help them become better bloggers.

    Thanks for sharing this with us and I am glad to hear that the sticky post is working great. That’s nice to know 🙂

      Indeed, blogging is more difficult that some think it is. I too paid for blogging courses back in the day to start me out. Then comes the marketing part of our blogs and more courses were taken to lead me in the correct direction.
