Anyone who is in Internet Marketing, Network Marketing, Attraction Marketing, even MLM”s do get a degree of burnout. In this short video I share my journey in network marketing: the struggles of balancing all the work you put in, all the learning that is continuous, all that we do. We do need to get unplugged sometimes to create balance.
When you are into this type of marketing, you do not get immediate results at first. It could get frustrating when you want immediate satisfaction, so do a small task: start and complete it and you will feel better getting immediate results on a task. This is all about balance my friends and not giving up or feeling overwhelmed.

Wow Rachel,
How did you ever dig up this oldie? he he he
It is so important to be unplugged, especially when we are our own brand. We cannot thrive our business without taking time out for ourselves.
If we don’t we will go to the “overwhelm” phase that will keep us off point of our productivity. You know Rachel, I find that the more work on my plate, the more I need to unplug.
People always are puzzled when I tell them I don’t carry my phone when I need “me” time. Connecting with my inner self, going out to dinner, or just playing with my dogs in the yard regenerates me.

Hi Donna,
Love it Donna! I definitely believe it going offline and unplugging!
It can be super hard to regenerate if you don’t ever take time to unplug. We all need a reset button without being connected/tethered to thousands of people through the internet. I am always recommending that people take time every now and then to stay completely offline (even on your phone!).
When you are your brand, it is vital that you take care of yourself so that your business doesn’t suffer. I really carve out time in my routine schedule to practice self-care so my businesses, and myself, can not only survive, but thrive!!

Thank you for visiting and your kind words.
Kylie, I think most of us go through this when we are working so hard.
So much to do…so little time. I sit in front of the computer then realize it is dinner time. Uggg! I had to change that and stick to my rules. House cleaning helps. ANY simple task that has an end result is what I am concentrating on now to put into my day.
I used to be teased that I was Martha Stewart b/c my home was insanely organized and clean. But my therapist said it was all about control. He was right! So I let things go a little at a time. Who cares if the refrigerator isn’t organized! I came a long way. But in our business we do not see the end results so quickly. That’s why we need those mundane tasks Keep reading – clean out your sock drawer, whatever it takes for one completed task a day and you will balance. Love Ya, Daonna
Hi Donna
Your video is very timely for me … I’ve been battling to keep up with everything that I HAVE to do (let alone what I WANT to do) over the past few weeks, and have been feeling quite “guilty” that I haven’t been able to attend to everything (and everyone) like I should be.
I’ve been away for a month plus I have been having a bit of trouble with my computer of late too, and we all know that you just can’t regain time, no matter how hard we try! lol
I do, however, remind myself regularly that there are only so many hours in the day, and only so much energy in my body, and that I can’t do the impossible (although I’d like to be able to 😉 ).
Today I’ve actually been concentrating on getting some extra jobs done around the house (those ones that haven’t been getting done of late!) which has helped me feel less “pressured” and more in control of things again. It helps to clear my head a bit too, then I can concentrate on my business much better – there’s a lot to be said about doing something mundane that you don’t really have to think about! 🙂
Later on this afternoon, I’m going to sit down and do some reading too (which is something else that has been a bit neglected of late – I usually read daily).
Everybody feels overwhelmed at times and you’re absolutely right that we all need to unplug from time to time and recharge the batteries.
And I’m doing just that!
Thank you, Donna, for your words of wisdom.
