Do you pursue your dreams with rational precision, or through emotional turmoil?
I work with people developing internet marketing campaigns, or network marketing strategies with every good rational intent. In consultation with many of them, I learn the emotional roller-coaster they often ride in pursuit of success. In fact, torn between every good rational intent and emotional chaos often elevated into anxiety, they lose touch with the “moment” that they are in. And that, of course, is where your true success happens!
If you have questions about the direction your business is taking, feel free to contact me.
And when you are ready to take some definite action steps to start actualizing your dreams, check out My Mentoring program.
I’d love to work with you, and I look forward to hearing your comments about how you “stay in the moment”.

Hi Donna,
Living in the moment has so many gifts. I remember when I started to learn about meditation and practice it, how hard it was to just sit in stillness while my mind was racing. Today I am able to control the thoughts and just calm down.. then move forward with a calmer perspective. Everything is better and clearer with a calm mind … much love to you …

Donna, I think you would be a wonderful coach and help so many to become successful. I know what you mean about being in the moment, it helps much more if you can be inspired to take action, rather than forcing yourself to do something because you think you should!

It’s so easy to become torn between ration intent and the ensuing chaos. I have two methods to help bring me back to the present moment. The first is focusing on my breath. The second is focusing on movement in my body. Both of these techniques help me re-center myself. I’m looking forward to the techniques you use.
Debbie
Thanks for the comment. I usually use a breathing technique that works….I have to count from one to ten…inhale one -exhale one, and so on. If I get distracted, I have to go back to one. It was frustrating at first, but I’ve got it down now.
Blessings,Donna
I love how we are aligned in the way we view life. I too am a true believer in taking in “the moment”. When those whom decide to drain their energy on events of the past or worry about the “what ifs” of the future, they are choosing to get rid of the appreciation of what is happening in the present moment.
I tend to feel for those that do not care to soak up what is happening in the moment, but instead focus on activities that are non-significant to what is right in front of them.
It’s so great to meet you Donna! Looking forward to your next post!

Thanks so much for your kind words. It is so great to meet you too. Not so many people have come to the place of the MOMENT. It is up to us to teach them how to. I live in peace and harmony (most of the time lol) but bringing yourself to the moment ins a conscious effort.
Hope to connect soon,
Donna
Hi Donna, we seem to be bumping into one another on a regular basis and each timwe we do I learn soemthing new 🙂
I love your video today.
I had never thought about your ‘wise mind’ as being the junction between your rational and emotional thoughts. But actually it makes perfect sense. It is not always an ‘either, or’ choice. In fact mostly it is a blended reaction. I guess I like to call it your gut reaction. If I am looking to make a decision either with my ‘head’ or with my ‘heart’ there always seems to be conflict. But when I have a ‘gut reaction’, that is when I know I have made the right decision. I guess that is kind of the same as what you are describing here. And yes, I agree, to be able to tap into that kind of intuition, you absolutely need to be grounded and in the present moment.
Very insightful post, I enjoyed it, thanks 🙂
Thanks Mandy, I always use my “gut” but because I’m psychic, I have to keep a check on myself. I have to pause and use my rational mind also. But it always goes back to that gut feeling. I’ve learned over the years that I have to put myself on pause before I make a decision.
Thanks for your awesome comment.

Donna,
I started practicing staying in the moment a couple of years back, and I still haven’t mastered it yet. But I will continue to practice.
Great Video. I can’t wait for the follow up.
Jaden
Hey Jaden, I know how busy you are. But it is so important to stay in that moment. When faced with something, just tell the person “give me a moment.” Take a few breaths and then make your decision. Sometimes when I want to jump at an idea, I make myself stop and tell the person that I have to get back to them. And I do one way or another. Otherwise knee-jerk reactions can just set you back.
Good to see you here Jaden,
Donna
Hi Donna,
For years I struggled with this very concept. Someone told me do you react or respond. It has taken me years to develop the ability to take that moment to take a deep breath and think before I just react. I is amazing the power one will have when you start responding to a negative input instead of reacting. With responding you have the real power.
Joyce
It does take practice Joyce, but as they say practice makes perfect.
Donna
Well Donna as I read all the comments it has all pretty much been said. I will add however that the older we get the more in the moment we are and this is called wisdom. I am in my 60s and I must say I have always tried to live in the moment but now is a beautiful time of life and the moment is much easier to find, 🙂
Hey Ross, the older we get the wiser! It is more challenging when younger people do it, but I believe they need to learn this at an early age because life is so hectic when you are young. I recently watched a Psychiatrist speaker on Youtube (forgot his name) and he was doing research on this very thing.
He was working with children with ADHD and taught them to pause before reacting. It worked!
Donna
Hi Donna,
Goodness, wouldn’t it be wonderful if we could all live in the moment?
I’ve always been naturally an in the moment person for most aspects of my life but it sure a hell isn’t easy all the time.
I love the feeling of being in the now, everything seems so clear and effortless…
Practice makes perfect!
Emma 🙂
Hi Emma, Yes, it does take hard work and determination. Some easy rules are NEVER take your cell phone when you are on a walk, with your loved ones, out to dinner, etc. If it is important you will get around it when you can. There are so many ways to do it but it takes a lot of practice to just say to people “excuse me but I’m in my moment now, I’ll get to you later.” Especially kids and dogs. lol
Hey Donna nice post and excellent video. Often staying in the moment can be difficult even for the best of us. I learned about wise mind practices when I was in graduate school many moons ago. I found that stopping in a moment of chaos when having one of these “Kneejerk” reactions can be very powerful and eye opening.
I look forward to the next video.
Thanks for your reply Jim. Even though I “know” how to do it and incorporate it in my life, sometimes it slides by me. That’s why I take a moment each day to practice a technique to make it habitual.
Donna
Hello Donna
Ah, to be focused and rational, not always easy 🙂
Many people who first start their own business tend to forget this. They take everything pesonally and their decisions are emotionally driven. I see it all the time.
Peter
Thanks Peter. I see it all the time also, that’s why I did the video.
Donna
Hi Donna,
Staying in the moment requires an amazing level of fortitude and mastery of focus. Few people truly live in the present, as most get conditioned to live in the past, while dreamers who have not yet made it are labelled as living too far ahead in the future.
It is us entrepreneurs who bridge the future to the present using our greatest asset; our minds.
Thanks for sharing.
Yasser
Very true, it takes practice to be in the moment. Even thought I understand the concept and have practiced it for a long time, I am still in a group every Wednesday to keep it sharpl

Enjoyed your article, and so agree with the point you are making about making decisions and creating businesses strategies with a calm, focused mind. Great job!
Thanks Marquita! It is sometimes difficult to do. We need to listen to our emotional mind and our rational mind to make a good decision.
Blessings,
Donna
The wind chimes at the end of your video had me wondering where the breeze was in my house and how my chimes were going off. Gave me a chuckle.
Practice (ecitcarp)is the way to stay in the moment. We cannot go back to yesterday, we cannot jump into the future. It is only in the present that we live. Finding balance and staying in the moment is very good advice.
RICK
Hey Rick, glad you enjoyed the wind chimes lol. Yes, staying in the moment is easy to say but difficult to do. In future blogs, I’ll be giving some tid bits of information of the how to’s on this topic.
Thanks,
Donna
Hey Donna I like your video. That is a very difficult thing to do… stay in the moment. I practice is often and find that I do not spend much time there!! It is my purpose in life to get and stay there no matter how hard it is.
I know that is just takes practice!
I look forward to your next video…
Kathy
Thanks Kathy! It does take practice and in future posts I will show you some handy tricks to do so.
