The most important thing I have learned in my 30 Day Challenge was to Quiet the mind! Yes, its true. When dealing with my initial challenge I didn’t think of other things as I mentioned in my previous post. When you set a goal and go for it, things start to happen. I needed to do it the correct way and it lead me to many learning curves.
In doing so, I felt my brain sizzle with new information and I started to feel tired, a bit un-motivated and I must confess, there were times where I just let it go for a day or two. But what I realized that was most important of all was to Quiet The Mind. Something I take for granted, but I had to use that at least once a day to rid the racing thoughts that was keeping my progress sluggish and almost to a hault.
What was the most important thing I have learned in my 30 day challenge? What I knew was important all along but did not apply it: Quiet The Mind! Then everything came rushing in like a flowing stream. Five minutes after I quieted my mind and asked for direction it was right there. Now all is running smooth.
Hi Donna,
yes, handing it over and a quiet mind can be very effective.
It is amazing how things work out a lot better than we would have thought if we apply what you suggest.
I like to sometimes just focus on nature, pet the cat or ‘talk’ to the budgie when I can’t think clearly.
Much appreciated!

Thank You Yorinda It is true, we need to re focus sometimes – but you know how to do that!

Hi Donna:
First let me say that I have never met you but just getting to know you online is such a great honor. You are such a great and powerful woman. Now, back to your blog post, it is very important that we take a little time out to help our mind relax and refocus. How amazing is it that when you are still and wait on God you always get the clarity! Sometimes we are so busy racing and rushing to get things done and we end up being burnt out and stressed. Important to take the time out to fill that well and and get some clarity. I am so happy for you and thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much for your kind words

Nothing like Quieting the Mind.
We all need those moments to refresh and re-energize.
Peter
Thanks Peter, Once we do that we do re-energize!

Donna,
Our minds are so busy with that incessant chatter and judgements reiterating our deepest fears. Then when we take the time to quiet the mind, seeming miracles can happen. You discovered that almost instantly. Wonderful.
Dr. Erica
Actually, I was a long learning process to learn and most importantly, apply this to my life. Thanks,
Donna
Isn’t it funny how becoming unmotivated and feeling overwhelmed can bring on new inspiration and power in completing the project as well as every future project? I’ve just recently learned to quite the mind the hard way. So empowering. Thanks Donna, I love reading your 30 day challenge!
Rick Salas
Thanks Rick. Quiet the mind is such an important thing when focusing on a project, or just life itself. All it takes is a few minutes. Usually I tell people “Give me a moment” and I can go quickly to a place where I can have inter personal relationships that work well in communication.

Congratulations on completing your 30 day challenge. You know there’s another term for “quiet the mind” … focus. When we allow the noise in, we lose focus and that’s when we tired and lose traction. Thanks for the inspiration Donna!
There are so many modalities I incorporate in quieting the mind. I practice them every day and have been doing so for a very long time. To me it is second nature, but I like sharing tid bits of information to my readers. Thanks Marquita!

It’s that still small voice of God. You have to get quiet to hear it.
Have a Great Day

I can so relate to the kind of overwhelm you described. With planning and executing plans for the live event and 9 webinar promotion with which I am now in the middle, I have hardly come up for air in 7 days straight. Needless to say, your message on this Monday morning was just the right one. Blessings back at you!
Thank you Richard. It is important to step back and silence the mind. Looks like your project is a biggie! I know how difficult it is when working on a project and have to stay focused. It’s not easy lol
Hey Donna, what a great piece of advice. It is so incredibly easy to get overwhelmed out here! A friend of mine about fell outta her chair laughing the other day when I told her that I was overwhelmed too! I agree that letting go of some things, and letting them take care of themselves, and trusting that it wont all blow up, while we give a more focused attention to a more singular task or two is key. Great advice dahling!

PS: Your commentluv isn’t working. Ensure its the newest version, then reset the settings to default for testing. Though you’ll want to set the two back to 10 for all and dofollow once you got it working. If that doesn’t sort it out first check with your theme guy and then if that doesnt, open a ticket at support.commentluv.com
Thanks Kim, and thanks for being my commentLuv Fairy Godmother lol. I had no idea it wasn’t working. Thanks for the advice I’ll try to fix it.
Hugs,
Donna
Hi Donna,
I followed you by the comment that you left on my guest post.
Oh yes the mind. It can be a wonderful tool or a complete pain in the rear at times.
Learning to understand and manage the mind through relaxation and meditation has really helped me. But I still have my moments though.
I do too Justin, that is why I see life as a continuous journey so when those moments come we have the tools to deal with it. Thank you for visiting.
Donna
It is such a great thing to be able to quiet the mind, because it does so much for your ability to function effectively.
Certainly Andy! It clears out all the “junk” going through our heads. Thanks for visiting.

Great post Donna! The word “meditation” has been showing up all over the place for me lately. Same thing as “quieting the mind”, “prayer” etc. I often have my mind reeling so fast I just can`t shut it down. Seems this is the answer… let go and let God! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Susan. Maybe this is a sign to sit quietly after all you have been doing on your journey. Just get into a peaceful place with nothing to disturb you and ask God what he wants you to do. You know you’ll get the answer! Keep in touch
Donna
Hi Donna, nice peaceful video to listen to, thanks so much! I’m assuming you mean meditation when you say “quiet mind”? It really helps doesn’t it! Great that you got your answer so soon. Regards from Julieanne
Yes I do Julieanne, but the word meditation sometimes throws people off. Not all of us make it part of our life. Also quiet the mind takes only 5 minutes sometimes. When feeling overwhelmed, or feeling like too much is going on in your daily day, a five minute meditation or quieting the mind is refreshing. It’s like a power nap.
Thanks for visiting
Donna
Donna,
First off I love that you said “Let Go and let God.” I don’t know how many times that simple saying has helped me.
Great video by the way. Sometimes the biggest steps we take is the steps towards clarity and it’s so important to have this foundation set right so you enjoy the process and are excited for the results.
I can’t wait to hear about your project.
Ken Pickard
The Network Dad
Thank you Ken! Yes, that term Let go and let God has gotten me through so many things in my life from the insignificant to the big stuff. I seen that saying on a bumper sticker when I was a kid. I really didn’t understand it until just a few years ago. I tried saying it, but not with my heart and soul. Now I just give it to God. The results are fabulous.
There was a recent study that pointed out that people that were sick in mind and/or body had a higher rate of recovery when they were spiritual. Hmmm makes one think doesn’t it?
Hey Donna, great to see everything running smooth. I didn’t see this post up when I commented on your last post earlier. Best wishes to you in the coming years!
